Police respond to Central Bakersfield medical complex for report of suspicious package

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Police bomb squad units were called to a medical complex in Central Bakersfield for a report of a bomb squad but determined what was found was not dangerous.

Police were called to the complex that includes the Bakersfield Heart Hospital at 3001 Sillect Ave. at around 3 p.m.

It isn’t clear what exactly the item was that was described as suspicious, but officers were cleared from the call.
