Police investigate shooting in Southeast Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Multiple Bakersfield police officers were called to the area of Cottonwood Road and Melwood Street for reports of a shooting.

Bakersfield police officers responded to the area in Southeast Bakersfield just before 4:40 p.m.

Police say a 23-year-old Hispanic man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a local hospital and was last listed in critical condition.

During the investigation, police issued an arrest warrant for 33-year-old Adanid Rebollar for attempted murder.

Rebollar is described as the following: Hispanic male, 5’6″ tall, 160 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans.
