UPDATE (2/12): The pedestrian has been identified as Ricky Allen Py, 59, of Bakersfield, according to coroner’s officials.
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — CHP is investigating a collision that killed a pedestrian Thursday night in East Bakersfield.
According to CHP’s Traffic Incident Information Page, the collision happened on Edison Highway at the Mount Vernon Avenue overpass at around 8:45 p.m.
The coroner has been called to the scene.
