While nearly every event has been canceled because of the coronavirus, one neighborhood celebrated a Bakersfield woman’s 90th birthday as best they could at a safe distance.
Friends and neighbors celebrated Sara Flores turning 90 years old Saturday afternon.
She stood out on her front lawn as a parade of cars went by. Family says they thought the drive-by party was a great idea to make her feel celebrated and loved while practicing social distancing.
