Many skipping out on Labor Day travel due to pandemic: AAA

Local News

(KGET) — Thursday marked the unofficial start of the Labor Day weekend with millions of Americans taking one final trip of the summer.

Many are postponing or canceling their trips due to a recent surge in COVID-19 cases. Adobe Travel says domestic flight bookings are down 16% compared to Labor Day weekend in 2019.

Many people are hitting the road too, but they are facing higher gas prices, due to the effects of Hurricane Ida.
