Juan Pablo Torres, 31, was taken into custody in Weed, California and charged with murder on Tuesday, April 23.
Torres had an outstanding warrant for weapons and narcotics charges when detectives discovered information and added an additional charge of murder.
The charge stems from a homicide investigation in the 4100 block of Parker Avenue. On April 19 Bakersfield police discovered a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds just before 2 a.m. who later died as a result of his injuries.
The man who died was later identified by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office as Robert Raymond Dominguez Jr.
Torres was booked into the Kern County jail on April 29, 2019 and is due in court Wednesday, May 1.
