Kern County firefighters work overnight battling Tick Fire

LEBEC, Calif. (KGET) — Seventy five Kern County firefighters have been sent to help battle the Tick Fire.

The department posted a photo of crews working through the night.

The engines came from various communities in Kern County.

That includes multiple strike teams of dozers, fire engines and hand crews.

Firefighters packed up gear and hit the road on I-5 Thursday night.
