BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A portion of Highway 178 has been closed due to approximately 30-40 feet of the roadway washing away, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page.
The closure occurred at around 3:45 p.m. after the roadways on the junction of Highway 178 and Sierra Avenue washed away, according to CHP.
