Honor Flight Kern County received $65,520 this morning, the largest single donation the organization has ever received.
The donation came from Diversified Utility Services and Braun electric thanks to a skeet-shooting fundraiser they held April 26.
Honor Flight expects 150 veterans on their trip in the Fall, and this donation will cover about 65 of those veterans.
