Homeless person rescued from apartment complex fire in Mojave

MOJAVE, Calif. (KGET) — Firefighters with the Kern County Fire Department helped rescue a homeless person during an apartment complex fire in Mojave on Saturday night.

The department said the person was found while county firefighters as well as firefighters from the California City Fire Department were searching for occupants. They refused medical treatment, according to KCFD.

No one else appears to have been hurt due to the fire.
