Gusty winds through Saturday pose health risks for some in San Joaquin Valley

Local News

(KGET) — The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District issued a warning saying gusty northwesterly winds could blow an unhealthy amount of dust into the air.

The dust could aggravate lung disease, trigger asthma attacks and bronchitis, and increase risk of respiratory infection. The District recommends that residents use caution and avoid exposure to blowing dust caused by windy conditions.

The warning lasts through Saturday.
