BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — They started with a taco truck and now they’ve got their own bar and grill.
Fuegos Tacos is getting ready for their grand opening at Downing Avenue and Coffee Road.
They are offering the same food as their taco truck’s menu, but with fresh, handmade tortillas.
The bare basics are tacos, burritos and beer, but you can also get the Fuego fries, topped with cilantro, pico de gallo and meat.
Employee Alia Madera says she’s happy for the store’s opening thanks to their success with the taco truck.
“Fuegos has been a great business, it’s been doing good at the taco truck, I’m glad that the restaurant is now open, so many people are happy to be here,” Madera said.
No date is set for the shop’s grand opening yet, but they will be opening soon.
