Former Kern County prosecutor facing sexual battery charges in Orange County

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A former Kern County prosecutor finds himself on the other side of the law accused of preying on his own client in Orange County.

Adam Rudnick Stull worked as a  Kern County prosecutor in the 1990s, but was fired in 1993 after being convicted of sex acts with a minor.

His license was suspended, but reinstated the next year, and he became a defense attorney, practicing in Orange County.

That's where he's accused of restraining and molesting a woman in November.

Stull faces felony charges of sexual battery and the Orange County Sheriff's Office believes he may have more victims.

He faces four years in prison and will be arraigned in Newport Beach on Feb. 23.
