RIDGECREST, Calif. (KGET) — Two dozen aftershocks of magnitude 4.5 or higher have hit since Friday night’s 7.1 temblor, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Seismologists have said to expect aftershocks in the coming days, weeks and even months.
Friday’s quake was the most powerful to hit the region in decades.
