BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Police said speed was likely a factor in a collision that sent a car crashing into a Bakersfield business that injured one person inside.
The crash was reported at around 3:45 p.m. at 2130 23rd Street. The vehicle that crashed through a wall could be seen halfway inside. Bakersfield police said one person inside was hit by the vehicle and suffered moderate injuries. The driver of the vehicle was taken to a hospital for minor pain.
Alcohol or drugs were not factors in the crash. Speed was likely a factor but it wasn’t immediately clear how fast the driver was going at the time of the collision, police told 17 News.
