BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — California City High School was evacuated Monday due to a strong smell of gas, police said.
Firefighters were attempting to locate the source, which resulted in classes being canceled for the day, according to a release sent at 9:35 a.m. Students and staff were moved to a safe location on campus and school officials were contacting parents and guardians, police said.
