BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — AAA’s year-end holiday travel forecast predicts a drop in Southern California travel due to COVID-19.
The company said it is forecasting a drop in travel of at least 37 percent in Southern California for Christmas and New Year’s. AAA says it encourages anyone with travel plans to reconsider in order to protect themselves and others during the pandemic and hopes would-be travelers will instead focus on plans for 2021 and 2022.
