LOST HILLS, Calif. (KGET) — Multiple drivers needed to be rescued from flooding in roads in northwest Kern County.

Six vehicles were stuck in flooding on highways 33 and 46, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page on Monday evening.

According to the Kern County Fire Department, officials helped a family of three out of their vehicle, which was washed off the roadway and officials helped a driver from another flooded vehicle.

According to CHP, their vehicles were towed. Other approaching drivers were ordered to turn around at the closure.

Hall ambulance did assist in this incident but there were no injuries or fatalities reported, according to KCFD.

CHP advises motorists to avoid trying to drive through standing water.
