He’s made his list and he’s checked it twice, now a local doctor and his team are getting ready to deliver gifts this Friday to nearly 100 students.
Orthodontist Mike Thurman teamed up with Stella Hills Elementary School. They asked each teacher to pick a few kids in their class who may not receive a gift this year.
The teachers were told to ask the kids what gifts they would want. Dr. Thurman and his team went out to buy those gifts
“It puts things in perspective to think that someone may not even have anything to open on Christmas,” Dr. Thurman said.
“For us to know we may be helping just one kid one something and making their day special means the world to me and my whole team.”
On Friday morning, the “Smile Squad” will head over to Stella Hills to surprise the students with their new toys.
