One year ago, 17News introduced viewers to Ava Rose and Kaela Wilstead. The two young girls wanted to start a revolution of kindness in the wake of the deadly protests in Charlottesville.
One year later, the girls are going strong with their campaign, “kind girls make strong women.”
One of the ways the girls help spread kindness is through t-shirt sales. Proceeds from the sales go to a different non-profit every quarter, according to the girls.
