Women can learn more about cervical cancer for free this Saturday, Aug. 18.
Kern Medical is teaching about cancer and prevention and offering free cancer screenings.
At 8 a.m. Kern Medical’s chief of internal medicine will talk about cancer prevention, followed by the free screenings from 9 a.m. to noon.
You don’t need to sign up for an appointment and the event is open to the public.
It all happens at 1700 Mount Vernon Ave.
