Kern Federal Credit Union will be changing their name to Strata Credit Union as of February 1.
This comes along with a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the credit union that will be held on February 12. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the downtown branch located on 1717 Truxtun Avenue.
KFCU CEO, Brandon Ivie says the “Credit Unions have always been about “people helping people.” With the help of our community, we will grant a total of 70 wishes for individuals or organizations that are in need right here in our community whose wishes will be submitted by someone on their behalf.”
