Even if you were picking up last minute flowers or cards Sunday, the message of love for mothers was still the same.
Strolling through Kern on Mother’s Day, sons and daughters were full of appreciation.
Debbie Ellis’s two daughters live out of town now, but they were sure to call first thing in the morning.
Lisa McDonnell just became a grandmother on Thursday, and offered advice for new moms.
“Just enjoy every minute they grow up so fast!” said Lisa.
Isaac Davis was sure to spoil his mom Morgan today.
“We’re so busy us moms, I know I don’t just speak for me, I speak for a lot of moms. We put ourselves last to make sure our kids have what they need. We sacrifice for them, we stay up late for them, so to know that we get a day where we’re appreciated it means a lot,” said Morgan Davis.
And even the dads got in on the act.
