A Northwest Bakersfield restaurant is closed after a recent visit from the Kern County Public Health Department.
Kamisama Ramen, located at 1400 Calloway Drive, was closed Wednesday after health officials found multi-generational cockroaches in several areas of the kitchen, according to a report released by public health.
Health officials shared the following video from the health inspection.
The store was advised to clean and sanitize the premises immediately, the report stated.
Other violations included missing hand soap in the cook line hand-washing sink as well as missing sanitizer at the dishwasher. The restaurant employees did not have food handler cards for employees cooking in the kitchen, according to the report.
17News will update this story when the restaurant reopens.
