How to vote in the upcoming June primary

California’s primary election is next month and there are three ways you cast your ballot.

A reminder, there is just one week left to register to vote. Your registration must be postmarked or electronically submitted by May 21.

To vote by mail, request a ballot by May 29 and return to the Kern County elections office no later than June 8.

You are able to vote early in person until June 5, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

You can also vote at the polls on Election Day on June 5 at your designate polling place.

Kern County is also looking fro people to help at local polls. The elections office says you will be compensated. If you’re interested call 868-3590.
