If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, why not head downtown for Second Saturday. Organizers say the event is family friendly and a lot of fun. Valentine’s Run

Experience a flat and fast 5k or 10k course on the CSUB campus. Compete for hand made custom heart-shaped awards. Enjoy healthy post-race snacks. Stick around for prizes in the raffle. The event benefits the CSUB Kinesiology Club. Gun goes off at 9:00 am (rain or shine). Late registration opens at 7:00 am race morning. 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Register online at

11th Annual  Valentine’s Wine & Chocolate tasting

Shops and boutiques will be your evening hosts as they serve you a variety of wines paired with gourmet chocolates. Special gifts will be raffled off throughout the evening. Event is held at Stray Leaves Vineyard Tasting Room located at 123 South Green Street in Tehachapi. Tickets are $35.  6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. For more information, click here.

Singles Speed Dating

1933 is hosting a Valentine’s Day mixer for single people with speed dating. You can also expect games, music and food, according to the restaurant and bar. The speed dating starts at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14. Tickets are $5 if you buy them before Feb. 1. After that, they will be $10 until Valentine’s Day and $15 at the door. Click here for tickets.
