Several events honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. are scheduled to take place Monday, Jan. 15.

Community Clean-up in Lamont
Volunteers will help clean up areas picking trash and removing graffiti in Hilltop, Lamont and Weedpatch. Assemblymember Rudy Salas, Americorps, Dolores Huerta Foundation, Greater Lamont Chamber of Commerce and Self-Help Federal Credit Union all host the event in Lamont.
