Kern County’s Olympians are one of the topics of discussion at the Kern County Museum’s Spring Lecture Series.
The museum says the lecture series is a fun way to learn about what makes Kern County what it is today.
The Olympians lecture takes place on March 7. That lecture is about Olympic athletes from Kern County. The lecture begins at 6 p.m.
Tickets to the lecture are $10 for adults, $5 for students and free if you’re a member.
Other topics in the lecture series cover media, the history of the Tejon Tribe, Buffalo Bill in California and the Spanish Influenza in Bakersfield and Kern County.
