BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern Secret Witness is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrests and charges filed against suspects in the 2021 killing of a 21-year-old man on Planz Road.
Bakersfield police released images of two suspects and a white 4-door vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting and killing of Tyis Rush on Aug. 14, 2021.
The Bakersfield Police Department described one of the suspects as between the age of 25 to 30 years old and standing at about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with a slim build and black hair. On the day of the incident, he was wearing all-black clothing.
The police department described the other suspect as a man in his 20s and standing at about 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a slim build and short black hair. On the day of the incident, he was wearing a black GAP sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
The suspect vehicle is a white Nissan Sentra between the years 2015 to 2019, according to police.
