UPDATE: Man killed in Oildale stabbing identified

UPDATE (3/26): The man killed has been identified by coroner’s officials as Jeremy Andrew Muzzy, 40.

UPDATE (3/16): The Kern County District Attorney’s Office told 17 News the case against Reanna Rebish has been sent back to the Sheriff’s Office for further investigation, and charges have not been filed. She was scheduled to be arraigned today if the case had moved forward.


UPDATE (3/15): The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed 43-year-old Reanna Rebish was arrested on Harris Drive and charged with murder after the stabbing. She is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.


(3/14): OILDALE, Calif. (KGET) — A man was killed in a stabbing in Oildale early Sunday morning. 

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said at around 6:25 a.m., deputies were sent to the area of Harris Drive and Beardsley Avenue after receiving reports of a stabbing victim. When deputies arrived, the department said they found a man who had suffered major injuries due to multiple stab wounds to his upper body. 

KCSO said the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries. 

There is no suspect information at this time. The stabbing is still under investigation.
