The Bakersfield Figure Skating Club presented “Home for the Holidays” – on ice, Saturday morning at the Valley Children’s Ice Center and local figure skaters shared their talents.
The local skaters spun and twirled their way across the ice, alongside special guest and professional figure skater, Maddison Bullock.
“The kids seem to be very supportive of each other, there’s a real sense of community, so I’m very interested to see where the skaters go here, where they progress in the next few years. There’s a lot of talent and there’s a lot of passion here in Bakersfield,” said Bullock, who is also an actress and producer.
Bullock recently produced and starred in a movie called “Ice.”
The movie is an inspirational sports drama that tracks the journey of two elite level figure skaters.
