Catholic Charities of Bakersfield hosted its 6th annual Harvest of Hope event honoring people’s generous acts helping the less fortunate.
The organization offers services to help people living in poverty but giving an opportunity to better their lives.
Three people were honored Thursday for their charitable contributions, including Beverly Camp.
“I’m so honored, this is such a group effort. It’s not just me, it’s multiple people. This is a village that makes Harvest of Hope successful in order for us to take care of our underserved in Bakersfield and Kern County and Inyo County.”
Mike and Pat Campbell were also recognized for their service to the Catholic Charities organization.
