They build strength, stbaility and self-reliance through shelter, but Habitat For Humanity Golden Empire needs your help to do it.
Habitat For Humanity is putting out the call for volunteers to come lend a hand and grab some tools to pitch in.
Their latest project is a house at 230 Rodman St. in East Bakersfield, about a block up from Fremont Elementary School.
Applications are due March 8 while volunteers will be needed for the work on March 15.
