John Giumarra, III who was sentenced earlier this year for a deadly DUI crash, may not be able to serve his sentence with community work.
In March, a judge sentenced Giumarra to 90 days in custody through a work release program for killing 32-year-old Angela Holder while driving under the influence.
The sheriff’s office, however, said Giumarra is not eligible for the program, but his application is pending.
A spokesperson told 17 News medical information in Giumarra’s application needs clarification.
Giumarra has until May 18 to qualify for the work release program., otherwise, he must turn himself in.
