Garden Pathways, Dignity Health aim to reduce homeless with new outreach program

Garden Pathways and Dignity Health are partnering up for a new program to reduce homelessness in Bakersfield.

The program is funded by Dignity and managed by Garden Pathways to identify ways to reduce homelessness, offer treatment and provide information for local businesses and families.

The study will target the area around Chester and Union avenues and Golden State Highway.

Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh and CEO of Garden Pathways will speak more on the project Monday morning at 10 a.m. at Weill Park at Q Street and Golden State Highway.
