Funeral plans for siblings killed in Highway 43 crash

Two teenagers who died when their family’s car was hit by a suspected drunk driver in Wasco, will be laid to rest this weekend.

Madysyn Garza, 14, and Kaleb Garza, 19, died in the March 25 crash on Highway 43, along with their father Adam and younger sister Jordan.

A celebration of life for Madysyn and Kaleb will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Kern Canyon Road.

Their 17-year-old brother, Ethan, survived.

The woman who struck the Garza’s sedan, 47-year-old Maria Rodriguez of Shafter, also died in the crash.

Investigators suspect Rodriguez was driving under the influence.

Funeral services for Adam and Jordan are pending.
