A fire that began in a vehicle spread to a nearby mobile home, leaving the people inside without a place to stay, according to the Kern County Fire Department.
The fire occurred just after 1 p.m. near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Vineland Road.
Initial reports indicated a person was trapped inside the mobile home, but that was not the case when firefighters arrived, according to KCFD.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
