Fashion show raises funds for Children’s Miracle Network

It was a fun night centered around fashion, but with a much bigger focus on helping kids in our community.

Hundreds of people packed the Westchester Hall in Downtown Bakersfield for the second annual Fall Into Fashion show.

In addition to clothing, there was a silent auction and lots of raffle prizes.

The money raised Thursday night benefits Children’s Miracle Network at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital so kids who need specialized treatment don’t have to travel out of town.

Tami Mlcoch emceed the event.

Organizers hoped to raise $20,000 and they surpassed that amount ultimately raising $22,000.
