Fans mourn the loss of Stan Lee at Bakersfield Comic Con

Bakersfield Comic-Con wrapped up yesterday at the Kern County Fairgrounds featuring artists, actors, local crafters and of course, fans.

The convention did have a sad note, with fans mourning the loss of Marvel co-founder Stan Lee in a candle light vigil.

“Stan is integral to creating all this, his imagination got a world excited which built into a world of comic books which is now all this,” said Steve Wyatt, promoter.

Wyatt says in ten years they’ve raised $20,000 dollars for the Bakersfield Rescue Mission.
