It has been a year since Marcus DeLouth, Jr. was shot to death in Arvin. The killing remains unsolved.
Family members came together on the anniversary of the 19-year-old’s death to insure the case isn’t forgotten.
His Mother LaWanda Harris said, “Marcus was such an asset to our family. He was so loved and I want someone to be held accountable for taking this life. This is somebody that was loved by so many people, that loved so many people.”
DeLouth was a graduate of Golden Valley High School where he played football. His family describes him as an sweet, happy, intelligent young man with a bright future. His mother said DeLouth was accepted at Fresno State University. All of that was taken away when he was shot multiple times outside the Kern Housing Authority on Meyer Street in Arvin.
