Family members of a woman who was murdered in Tehachapi last month are planning a walk in her memory as her case remains unsolved.
Cheyenne Watkins was found dead inside a home on Kid Place. She suffered a gunshot wound to her head.
Her death was ruled a homicide, though no one has been arrested.
Watkins’ sister told 17 News, the walk was organized by the family and is not intended to be a protest. They want to make sure her case is not forgotten.
The walk will happen through Main Street in Downtown Tehachapi Saturday at 10 a.m.
