Charges have been dropped against a police officer accused of stealing money and steroids.

In November of 2017, several misdemeanor charges were filed against Officer Kevin Schindler.

A search warrant revealed Schindler had injectable steroids and testosterone.

It also said he “misappropriated” a department gun without permission.

However those charges have been dropped and the District Attorney’s office would not say why.

17 News also reached out to Schindler’s attorney to learn more but have not heard back.
