Drive-by Donation Drive event benefits human trafficking victims

Canyon Hills Women’s Ministry is holding a donation drive to help raise awareness of human trafficking and victims.

It’s the 7th annual Drive-by Donation Day event put on by the women’s ministry, through Project Rescue.

Volunteers will be at these locations collecting donations on April 13:

  • Hodel’s Restaurant: at the intersection of Knudsen and Olive Drive 
  • Sully’s Chevron on Coffee Road just north of Stockdale Highway 
  • Luigi’s Restaurant on 19th Street 
  • Salty’s BBQ on White Lane 
  • Town Center Shopping Center at 24th and L streets in Downtown Bakersfield

Besides donating at those locations, you can donate any day by texting, donating online or sending a check.

You can text 661-727-4050 and designate a donation to Project Rescue.

You can donate online at Canyon Hills Church website

Or write a check payable to Canyon Hills, with “Project Rescue” in the memo line, and mail it to Canyon Hills Women’s Ministry, 7001 Auburn St., Bakersfield, CA 93306.
