DONATE: How to help those affected by California wildfires

American Red Cross
Sending money is almost always the best way to help in a disaster, according to the Center for International Disaster Information.

If people want to help they can make a donation three different ways:
– Text “Red Cross” to 90999 to make a $10 donation
– Call 1-800 – Red Cross
– visit redcross.org


Bunny Love Project
Anderson Acres’s Bunny Love Project is collecting items for their Comfort Bags. These bags are going to Children affected by the Northern and Southern California Fires. Items include:
-Neutral Tote Bags
-fleece blanket
 -drawing paper
-writing tablet
-coloring book
-reading book
-colored pencils
-crayons (non toxic for younger children)
-journals: both line and unlined
-books
-toy
These items can be dropped off at Anderson Acres. Call 845-8955 to schedule a drop-off time.

 


Woolsey Fire Relief

Woolsey Fire Relief is a place where you can help the families affected by the tragic fires in the Thousand Oaks and Malibu communities. This tool allows you to give specific items requested by the families most affected that will allow them to get back on their feet.
