Deputies bust four Rosamond pot shops; 6 people cited

Kern County Sheriff’s deputies seized more than $800,000 of pot and marijuana products from four illegal dispensaries in Rosamond.

KCSO served search warrants last Friday at The Plug, The Green Empire, 5 Gramz Stop and Green Mile Collective, all in Rosamond, according to a Monday press release.

In total, deputies seized 142 pounds of marijuana, nearly 14,000 grams of cannabis oils and concentrates, hundreds of edibles more than $25,000 in cash and a gun.

The street value of the seized cannabis is approximately $241,519, the cannabis oils and concentrates is approximately $549,000, and the cannabis edibles is approximately $16,240, according to KCSO.

Six people were cited and released for possession for sale of cannabis:

  • Kyle Amway (27 years of age)
  • Summer Hodges (23 years of age)
  • Mohamed Hussin Ahmed (52 years of age)
  • Salah Saeed (39 years of age)
  • Richard Ariel (31 years of age)
  • Veronica Molnar (22 years of age)
