The folks at Camp Hamilton cooked Thanksgiving turkeys for their members and veterans in need.
41 turkeys were dropped off to be cooked Wednesday afternoon, and were available for pickup, Thursday, cooked.
“The turkeys come out, they’re succulent, the meat just falls right off the bone. It’s an endeavor out here at camp that camp members get together and we all join forces to get this done,” said Till Hill, the Camp Gunny (also known as the manager).
Camp Hamilton is a local veteran’s memorial park that serves as a remembrance of former soldiers and a place of support for current and recent servicemen and women.
