BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police said they are investigating a robbery at the Citibank on Oswell and Bernard streets. Police on Wednesday had swarmed the bank and roped off the area with crime scene tape.
Police said a suspect entered the bank and presented a note demanding money. The suspect then took the money and ran off, police said. Officials did not provide a full description of the suspect, but said the description is similar to the bank robbery suspect in a Wells Fargo bank robbery late Wednesday morning on California Avenue.
The incident remains under investigation.
