A coyote poppy rescued this week from a backyard in East Bakersfield will receive rehabilitation at CALM.
Kern County Animal Services rescued a coyote puppy in the 700 block of Normandy Drive near Pioneer Drive and Fairfax Road, according to KCAS.
The coyote was transported to California Living Museum where he will receive the care and rehabilitation he needs, according to KCAS.
The coyote is between six to eight weeks old and the skin condition is a “mange situation,” animal services said.
