Kern County wants to hear from you next Monday about concerns and what to do about homelessness.
On Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to noon, the county is hosting a community meeting to address the issue.
The county says it is holding the meeting to hear comments from residents, business owners and other community partners. County departments will also provide its findings on how homelessness affects local parks and quality of life.
In addition, the county plans to detail its 10-year plan to end homelessness.
The meeting takes place at the Kern County Board of Supervisors chambers at 1115 Truxtun Ave.
