County says 29 West Nile cases, no deaths reported

Kern County public health officials report new cases of West Nile have popped up in the county.

Public Health Services says there have now been 29 cases of West Nile virus.

No deaths have been reported this year, but last year one person did die from the illness

Statewide, there have been 530 cases and 41 deaths reported.
